The newly-elected Green MEP for the South West and Gibraltar Molly Scott Cato
is clearly wasting little time in getting stuck in to her new position as this week she paid her first visit to Gibraltar.
Speaking to Your Gibraltar TV
about her visit to the Rock during a tour of the frontier and the new implementations on the Gibraltar side, the Green MEP said that a new MEP the purpose of her visit was to find out as much as she can about Gibraltar and the issues it currently faces.
She said: “I think that because I’m the first Green MEP for the South West of England and Gibraltar, the Government’s focused my visit a lot around environmental issues, so I’m finding out a lot about biodiversity and marine conservation areas and the nature reserve, and so on.”
During her visit she also met with
the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo.
